Riverview Middle School Student Council will be hosting a lock in on Friday, March 2 for all 5th and 6th graders. This event is a great way for your child to sample the large group socialization in a very safe environment - due to all the wonderful parent chaperones, of course! We are in need of 30 chaperones.... 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles.... Arrive at Riverview at 5:45 PM - Lock In is 6-9 PM. Special note to parents of 7th and 8th grade students.: The only 7th and 8th grade students that are allowed to be in attendance at the lock in are those who are working with student council during the event. Please sign up at

or email Donna Counselman at dcounsel@plymouth.k12.wi.us
A few things students should know . Cost is $4.00. The evening is run very similarly to the dances....except dancing to IPOD music in the cafeteria, and games in the gym. We serve pizza ($1.50), sundaes ($1.00), soda/beverages ($.25), and school store gum. Games are played in the hallway . Other 5th/6th graders from area schools or those who are home-schooled are invited to be our guests - just need to be invited by a Riverview student, who must get a guest registration form from Donna Counselman or the office prior to the day of the event..
Thanks again for considering this service to our school. We sincerely could not run our dances and lock-ins without you!

A reminder to students - if you call a parent for a forgotten item - YOU are responsible to come to the office to pick it up. We do not want to interrupt classes if we don't have to.
